Other Info	Ride Type: Road We'll enjoy cooler temperatures for our ride out from Big Sky Park to scenic Alfalfa. We'll take a rest stop at the Alfalfa store (a little of the GPS) , then ride out Johnson Ranch road for about 6 miles then turn around. If anyone wants more miles just ride farther before turning around. We'll enjoy great mountain views as we ride back west. * If AQI is 100 or above the ride will be canceled. Other Info	Ride Type: Road C-Pace for Organizer: Joe Gilles E-Pace - All riders are invited. This is a great training ride on NF 45 leading from Sunriver up to the junction of Cascade Lakes HY & returning back to Sunriver. We'll experience smooth roads, low traffic & great views. About the route The 1st 9 miles are flat-ish with some light climbing out of Sunriver for a nice 4-5 mile warm up to prepare for our climb starting about mile 9. On the climb one will experience varying grade increase along with flatter sections to give one a bit of a breather. After a brief stop at the junction off Cascade Lks Hy (restroom at Kapa /butte Snow Park) we get that oh so sweet descent with sweeping curves on our way back toward Sunriver. Post Ride: Sunriver Coffee Shop & Bakery across from the Sunriver Country Store. Leave your car at the Bike Barn & spin up the 1/2 mile on the bike path. Grab a hot or cold beverage and treat yourself to a pastry as a reward for your climbing session. :-) * If AQI is 100 or above the ride will be canceled. End of Season Picnic and Rides from Discovery Park!

Join us for our Forth Annual End of Season Picnic Rides at Discovery Park! Don't miss this COW's Event! This event is being catered by West Side Taco (from The Bite). We thank all those that have volunteered in advance and we will be in touch the week of the picnic.

Registration will open soon. Registration closes at NOON on Tuesday, September 15th!!

All members are enthusiastically invited at no cost Also bring your non-riding friend - a non-member, picnic-only option, is available in registration - $20 to be paid at picnic or online.

Please, no alcohol at this event. We will have a variety of non-alcoholic drinks.

Six rides will start around 9:45 am and end in Discovery Park between 11:45-12:10 pm. Please arrive by 9:00 am for Pre ride talk and Club Picture. (see schedule below). The rides will all tour the westside and Tumalo area and range from 25 and 40 miles with moderate climbing. Archie Briggs is a challenge for the A and B Road rides!

Save the Date for this year's End of Season Picnic Rides at Discovery Park on Bend's Northwest side. Very excited to announce one of the Best Taco Trucks in the area will be catering our Event-Westside Taco's. This will be at no cost to our members. Sorry, Guests will be limited and have to pay full price. More details will follow with signups. Registration for this event will be out in two weeks.

You are not signing up for picnic rides, you are signing up to volunteer to help at the picnic.

We are also in need of a pick up truck to bring and return tables and chairs to and from Discovery Park. BRNW has kindly donated the tables and chairs for our event. BRNW stores their tables and chairs off Brosterhouse on the SE side.

We are looking for eight members to volunteer their time for this event. Volunteers will be responsible for setting up prior to event as well as cleanup after the event
