Sunriver-Bachelor Loop

Meet at the Sunriver Grocery store parking lot on Sunday morning ready to depart at 10:30. This route is generally a lower traffic ride shortly after exiting Sunriver. Soon the roadway tips upward as we ride up NF 45 with forest views as well as views of Mt Bachelor. We merge onto Cascade Lakes for a few more feet of climbing past the ski area. Passing the winter gate, your climbing pays off with a free ride down to Sparks Lake. The ride continues on Cascade Lakes Highway to NF 40 for the return trip to Sunriver. Don't celebrate too early, there is still climbing to be had along this stretch, somewhat unexpectedly!
