Bad weather forced the cancellation of this ride last week, so we'll try again. This is the last weekend of the year to ride the infamous McKenzie Pass Scenic Bike Route without cars (open to cars June 18). We'll gather on the east side of Sisters Village Green Park and head to the top. Since it's an out-and-back, everyone can ride at their preferred pace. I will handle sweep, guaranteeing a C-Pace for anyone interested. Those with the zoomies can leave us behind.

As for distance, it's about 30 miles to the top and back. If you want more miles, the ride can be extended as far as you'd like before turning back; to the west gate and back makes it a 50-mile trek (with nearly 5,000 feet of climbing). In all likelihood, there will be some turning around at the top, some going another 5 miles to Juniper Trailhead, and some going the whole nine yards. Plenty of choices; choose yours on the fly.

Visitors are welcome on their first club ride for free, but must Join online as a Guest member, prior to the ride. Please Join as a regular member before attending your second club ride.
Please show up on time, follow the route and ride plan, maintain the listed pace, and cycle safely and cooperatively.
