Mt. Bachelor "D" 

This week we'll gather on the west side for another coordinated B/C/D ride trifecta and climb our way to Mt. Bachelor. This is the "D-pace" version with an intended average pace of 14-16 mph (MUCH slower up hill); check the calendar for B- and C-pace options. I will lead the main D-group and Dapne R. will lead any rabbits who want to sprint ahead. She may include a side excursion towards Edison Butte on the way down to grab a few more miles and delay arrival back at the start.

We'll meet at Discovery Park Pavilion in Northwest Crossing ready to ride at 8:30. We'll head across Tetherow on Skyline Ranch road, then turn onto Cascades Lakes Hwy. for the extended climb towards Mt. Bachelor. When the climbing is done, we'll make a beeline back to the start and a gathering of COWs from the B and C groups, plus Colin's Shevlin Park gravel ride group. Bring beverages and a picnic lunch and we'll wind down sharing tales of amazing cycling feats (in other words, BS).

Note that Air Quality might be an issue and could cause cancellation. We'll make that determination the night before or morning of ride. Watch for emails.
