Alfalfa Market-Milliken Out-n-Back

Let's meet at the intersection of Alfalfa Market Road and Dodds Road... there's a little parking area on the north side of Alfalfa. We'll start here because it gets us past the "bad" section of Alfalfa and out into the country.

We'll just head east out Alfalfa (and it's name variations) until we hit Milliken Road, where we'll turn south onto Milliken's clean, wide-shouldered, silken pavement. There's very little traffic and beautiful scenery along this stretch, which takes us to the top of the hill just before reaching Hwy 20. From here, we turn around and head back to the barn.

It's an out-and-back route at about 39 miles round trip if you go the whole way. But, you can cut it off at any point to make it any length you want. This is an ad-hoc, good weather ride, so all are welcome to join and ride at any comfortable pace. It's essentially "leaderless," so riders will group as they like and ride as they prefer.

Note that early spring conditions always means the possibility of cinders on roads. BE CAREFUL, especially at turns, and call out condition to nearby riders as soon as possible.

Bottom line: Just come out and ride... the REAL Spring is still a ways off.
