Silver Lake Loop

We had an open weekend (Memorial weekend) and we are taking advantage of it! Silver Lake is about 1.5 hours from Bend (80 miles). I checked with the Ranger and the route is clear. We can also park our cars at the ranger station.  The ride is on paved but very quiet forest service roads.

Bring a picnic lunch to leave in your car for after the ride at the ranger station. There is a water spigot and one park bench. Bringing a comfortable camp chair is a good idea. Also this is mosquito country, use your favorite repellent while having lunch.

This will be a true "C" paced ride.  If you  want to ride this route at a different pace, let me know and I'll add you as a ride leader for that pace. 

The Cowboy Dinner Tree Restaurant is nearby and opens at 5pm. They also have  cabins to rent for overnight use. 

We will leave the parking lot by 10:05. 

A couple riders are interested in carpooling to Silver Lake. If interested, in taking additional riders or who want a ride, meet at the Goodwill Store Parking Lot on S. 3rd at 7:45 am.
