Progressive Tuesday C-Rides 

The first in a series of increasingly longer rides with the intent of increasing rider endurance. Rides are every Tuesday and ride length will generally increase by about 5 miles a week.

This week’s ride is a 20 mile route that starts at Shevlin Park north out Johnson Road to Tillicum Park. This is a fun, relatively easy ride that has some great views of the Cascade Mountains. The Three Sisters, as well as other Cascade volcanoes, are visible on the ride. The ride is out and back, so we will, for the most part, follow the reverse route back to Shevlin Park.

The objective of the Progressive Tuesday rides is to prepare riders for the longer rides like those associated with the Tour the De Chutes or the Firecracker 100. Rides will take place in the Tumalo and China Hat road areas, and if interest supports, scenic bike rides like the Crooked River canyon or Sisters to Smith Rocks rides. These rides are a great way to increase endurance, learn about new ride routes, and enjoy the scenic beauty of rural of Oregon.
